For what it is worth, Shoogie's post above on how it works is completely accurate, other than the admitted artificial numbers. Testing has confirmed this (see past TSM 5 threads).

The extra HP benefit of TSM 4 compared to TSM 5 is very small. Small enough that if you do waste 2 weeks training TSM 5, all you are really losing is 2 weeks of training.
