Currently the EU till 05/02/14 (5Th Feb 2014) has a open consultation on copy right reform, which is open to all including non EU nationals, and this is a chance to help influance EU copyright including reforming it both in terms for being fit for the digital ages as well as ensuring that instead of Copyright heavily favouring Large corperations and content providers while pritty much sc**wing over the end consumers, several examples being, like why can I not trade in a ebook I bought, where if I bought a physical book I'd be able to trade/sell it if I wished to, or the digital download of a game I bought for PC which I've finished playing and would like to sell/trade etc, essentialy you have the chance to help put back the same rights into the digital age that you currently enjoy in the real world with physical versions not digital ones, along with the right to obtain copies of content you have already purchased previously (VHS etc) basicly meaning you'd be able to obtain a digital copy without worry of someone then trying to legaly extort you, as well as being freely able to watch/view content anywhere within the EU without seeing "This content is not available in your country/region due to licencing...."

Have your say and help bring in a fit for the age copyright, which is fair and balanced and allows many of the rights you currently enjoy in the real world, applied to the digital age.
