Been a steam user for years. Near 4k logged hours on steam. No real problems until now.

Came from work, load up steam then eve. Then the pop up on "Preparing to launch ANYGAMEHERE" (but in this case, eve-Online). And its still "launching" ? after 5 minutes.

I don't recall anything, but I just went to verify steam cache on eve, and it load past the prep launch into the eve launcher, then update again. Instead of playing, I tested it again by closing it and the prep load up prompt is back. :\

Help? I seriously doubt "reinstallation" will fix because I know it involves the eve launcher update that borked it.

For now, the temporary solution is to launch eve through the steam folder, but that will NOT log my eve-o hours into steam. :(
