Alright, I'll give it another go. I admit I only tried it once. And that was with another corp.

Its an immersion killer, and I hate it. But all corps seem to require it.

Is this a troll? Are you serious? You do know this is based tens of thousands of years in the future right?

I am so confused by this guys questions... I mean its like he wants a space-faring game with stone-age comms. Perhaps we should start using smoke signals to communicate instead of text. I mean a keyboard is too "advanced a tech" for space pilots. Why would anyone ever want to be able to "talk" to their members. Who ever heard of communicating in real time. LETS ALL USE CANS ON A STRING!!! THAT WILL WORK!

.... I lack the appropriate insult... (for a moderately elloquent guy thats not easy.

Fly True, Strike Sure, and Keep Up!

Just do what I do, if people start talking about football or their kids or whatever, open volume mixer, bring down TS and put music on. You'll get a poke if you are needed.

if you hate teamspeak, something is VERY WRONG with you and you should go see a doctor.

I am not a fan of voice coms, but I see absolutely no reason why it should be an immersion breaker. I mean if you were really flying these ships into combat, would you not have fleet coms? And would not some of those comms, most of them even, be complete and total garbage prior to combat?

To those that say it is an issue with people not wanting to have others hear their voice are short sighted at the best.
I am an older CB buff and I can assure you that I have no problem with people hearing my voice. I just am awkward on voice comms as I am unable to gauge the conversation. For example, I always end up talking over people as I am unable to see their body language that would cue me into the fact that they are about to say something. This make things very awkward and I then tend to just sit back and listen, as many that do talk on comms have the opposite problem. They like to hear themselves speak Lol This tactic does make it easy to follow commands though.

That would defeat the purpose of seeming as if you are interested...

This is actually pretty reasonable, but the answer is to find a corp that isn't filled with douchebags.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

I don't demand voice comms. It's unfair.
