Rapier Fitting Question

I am fitting out a Rapier for solo pvp, and having a tough time with some tradeoffs.

1. Assuming dual-webs, am I better off with 2 large shield extenders, or 1 lse plus one tracking disruptor (optimal range script)?

2. Should I go for 3 medium plus 2 light drones for the dps? Or 5 light drones plus some extras to peel off my target's drones? Would either of these options be more or less preferable depending on the answer to my previous question?

1TD + 1 LSE for sure. TD hellps to reduce incoming damage a lot and lets you engage harbingers and canes (it takes really long time to whittle them down though mind you). For drones i use three mediums and two lights, you really need as much dps as you can get for solo rapier (having sAid that though i use barra ge and two tracking enhancers for range over dps though)

If you are willing to forgo the Solo part and get a buddy in a Bomber you can burst them down much quicker with Torps.

Also makes a good less them 100mil scout.

Alara i might try that actually as i have an alt that can fly rapier and a bomber. In this case do you utilise target painter bonus of rapier or use damPeners/td on both ships? My alt can fly all bombers so could perhaps get a four mid bomber for ewar capability

I'm dedicated solo, so no alt/boosters. Anybody else have some input on these questions?
