Doubtful, game would be too boring then. Surely you don't want this level of tryhard confined to lowsec/highsec wars and general tomfoolery.

Kind of funny how you try to bait them with the POCO argument; clearly a longterm goal. You would love to swoop them out with a large fleet given the chance, wouldn't you? Blink

Considering the damage they have done and the fast growth they have achieved in only two weeks I would be worried too, if I were you. Even if it were only for exposing the unholy alliance between RvB and the Goonswarm, I would say they have been pretty successful so far.

Good luck to the Lemmings and to Spergtacus, your cause is a just one!

The "unholy alliance" was on the forums weeks ago so there was no newsflash there. Unless the discovery of Goon payments to RvB counts, which I am still waiting for....

lol, I'm pretty sure the "unholy alliance" was already announce round about Rubicon release day in multiple threadnaughts about how RvB and Goons were taking all the POCOs. Nobody in any null alliance cares even a little bit.

Their originally stated goals was the removal of POCOs, which I'm yet to see happen even once. The fact that they've grouped 160 alts into an alliance (of which I make up 2% tee hee!) doesn't suddenly mean they are succeeding, and seriously, if you see their leader speak, you'll understand why success ifs unlikely to be on their cards. This is why all they are doing right now is hoping (unrealistically) for N3 to step in and tell RvB to stop.

Still, they provide me something amusing to read while I'm not able to get on EVE I suppose.

Uhh, I think you posted this is the wrong thread bro, since pretty much the opposite is all that's going on here.

I seriously believe that *any * group becoming dominant would be bad for the game, but this discussion is hard to have with paranoid grrr goons conspiracists and goons professional trolls making sure that it turns daft in short order....

I wasn't refering to you in person, more towards RvB for that matter.

Yes announced and known, but was it ever really challenged?

As for Spergtacus, yes he is indeed a bit excentric. I happen to occasionally read his blog and your sweetheart comments too, you know. But what you might call normal, I might call 'boring' or even 'small minded'. While he has pretty weird ideas and views at times, he happens to come up with the pretty good ones as well. This here is pure gold and I approve of this new product/service.

I must say I even find it somewhat inspiring, at least it made me try the game again after nearly two years of absence. Back to some trading and training so that I might rebell against some empire some day as well. Blink So long and may the Farce be with you! (sic)

Taking our POCO's is a longterm goal? I never would've guessed with the way he's been sperging about it for weeks. Considering the damage Gevlon has done to GSF as a whole, which is zero, & his past history of having zero effect on us I'm not worried in the slightest. I'm going to assume that doing anything meaningful is also a longterm goal.

Nope, as nobody cares. Least of all a group like N3. If Lemmings entire hopes of success lie with N3 making RvB drop the war, they they are pretty screwed.

Amusingly, I wasn't talking about Gevlon this once. Gevlon is just funding them, the leader is that General Lemming guy, and he's got the strategic knowledge of a mashed turnip. There are hundreds of ways he could have been considerably more effective than camping the Jita undock and whoring on a few capital kills in null wars, some of which he's even been told in this thread and simply ignored. A bunch of donated destroyers and the war bills paid is hardly going to turn a handful of highsec carebears into an army capable of challenging a 30k+ member coalition.

Oh come on guys, be civil with each other, no need be mad because of a few lost pods. What?

Not really. Gevlon tried to take one on the very first day and was clearly geared to do so in very short order, and is now back-peddaling through various stages of obfuscation, by calling people we have a pact with "pets" and even concluding he can't work out why RvB want a part of this ISK printing business so it must be RMT.

I do like that he's digging this "RVB have to quit this war because N3 will make them" hole deeper and deeper, because on the laundry list of terrible ideas that have come from him, that's probably the #1 most ridiculous.

Heh, ok, lets have some more fun in this post.

From his blog comments

So if I'm understanding your reply correctly the victory conditions for Lemmings are that Lemmings are in a constant state of victory until you run out of money or alliance members without ever actually needing to do anything to goons? As long as the project still has members and isk it has the potential to one day take POCOs and therefore is winning?

Gevlon wrote:
Yep

You see, fair readers, by holding all the POCOs and never losing any, we're actually losing this POCO war, thing. Boy are we embarrassed now. Gevlon #1.

Gevlon, you've backpeddaled so far you're in our goal. Turn around chap.
