How long to direct carrier/logi?

What do you think the fastest way to a carrier is? A purely focused character, with no distractions except maybe logistics on the way (given similar roles etc).

This is assuming good remaps and +4's, and not bare minimum; it is in order to fly the ships not necissarily at all lvl 5, but mostly 4s etc...

You should load up Evemon and make a plan.
I have an alt that's *some ways* thru a Nyx holder plan, and she still has 90 days left, just to *sit* in a Nyx.
My fairly random guess is 150ish day or more.

Myself, I was just looking last night, and I have near 30 million SP that is capital related. (finishing up tactical logistics reconfiguration in 14 minutes :) You will need Logi V. That would be a year and a half of training, but admittedly, I do have several caps trained. My point though, is that a GOOD Carrier is gonna take awhile.

I would say it also depends on how long it takes to:

A. Find a corp that uses capitals regularly.
B. Get admitted to said corp.
C. Earn enough trust with said corp that they feel comfortable including you in their capital operations.

Thats not an issue, already have that down, we plan on using caps fairly soon. One of my mains can ride shotgun inside an archon but I would like a second toon capable too.

In that case just plug Amarr Carrier V, Fighters V, Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration V, and all the support skills (armor comps, capital remote armor and cap mods, capital repair systems, JDC, drone interfacing, sentry drone interfacing, targeting, cap skills, ect...) to V into EveMon and see what you get.

Then again dropping Amarr Carrier and Fighters to IV will save a lot of time and a suitcase carrier is a much shorter train than a combat carrier. If you can live with JDC IV then that will save a lot of time as well. So I guess it depends on what you are going to do with it and how proficient you want to be with it.
