First few replies are so absurd, lol. Way to think like 12 year olds. Come on, I know at least a few of you guys there are more capable than that.

As described via official EVE wiki:
Cargo containers and wrecks are considered valid property just like drones and ships. If you damage either, you are initiating aggression on its owner. If you are not in their corporation, or otherwise allowed to legally engage, then you should be ready for a security hit and Concord intervention.

Based on that explanation, damaging valid property is considered aggression against the owner and thus illicits a CONCORD response. Now, someone please explain to me how an MTU is any different.

Because CCP say so. If you don't like it I suggest you take it up with them.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

i like how the regular " goons pack of sh-it" jump on every post to claim hi sec are too safe.

and before you ask, i never undock so nobody kill my mtu

CCP: why not add mandatory 'high-sec is too safe' group of posts for this group? They will post it anyway so why not safe their time and effort a little?

Implementation is easy: this is never changing group of people and they always post the same. Just add it after first post to each thread already?

Well. Eve Online is very absurd game. About 90% of game mechanic makes no sense and only forces player conflict. This is the reason why bumping is free and why MTU are free for all but generate killmail.

Your not understanding the basic mechanics involved or the design intent does not make other people explaining those rules and designs “absurd”. Also, way to react like a 12-year-old to learning how the game works. Or maybe I'm being unfair to 12-year-olds…

Newsflash: MTUs — or indeed any of the new mobile structures — are not containers or wrecks. Oh, and if you damage mobile structures, you do initiate aggression (against everyone in the system, even) just not to the extent where it warrants a C-flag.

Mobile structures are specifically and intentionally designed not to trigger CONCORD, but rather to act as conflict drivers.
