I have been looking at the mighty Typhoon, was hoping to get some fitting idea's.

The parameters are:

70k EHP (minimum)
70% Omni Resist (minimum)
Range around 100km (will need a boost here)
No Repper (hence the EHP and resists)
Needs to use drones and Cruise.
T2 fit only, no fancy modules, going to be used in WH space.
Fit at all skills 5, no implants unless cheap 3% ones are fine.

Objective

To build the highest DPS Typhoon around the 100km range, drones can be in fall off.

I tried (fit is at home at work currently) best I could do is around the 1.1k DPS.

A small reward to the best one.

Some thoughts;

- you're going to have to rely on Fury cruise which will have issues applying dps to smaller/faster moving targets, although your statement about the sentries being allowed in falloff kinda assumes big targets
- 1x T2 Drone link + 1x T1 drone range rig (T2 is expensive) gets you just shy of 100km drone control, also you'll have targeting issues at that range

Given your requirements this is what I came up with which, quite probably, will be the exact same you found yourself. Without using fancy modules you can't really improve on it.

Nice, doesnt need a prop mod, if that helps, I had put a paasive EM shield resist amp in on mine, will have a look later.

PS: Armor fit you sacrifice too much DPS to get the resists/ehp without going for faction/ded space mods.

I'm going to assume there'll be RR in play and there resists matter more than EHP, EHP is just there to give RR time to react. DPS is the same. That's why the second fit in my last post is probably better than then first one which has 81k EHP.

Sid Crash, using a fourth BCU instead of a second DDA depends entirely on the target you are fighting against. Also, a T2 sig amp is worse than its meta4 variant.

- 3/2 or 4/1 gives the same dps within single digits, and the second DDA will be more helpful when you run out of big targets so imo 3/2 makes more sense.

- meta 4 sig amp is NOT better, you lose scan res (and an extra locked target, but that's very much secondary). Yes it uses less cpu but not enough to allow you to alter the fit so T2 sig amp is the right choice

- your second fit has a "low" EM resist of 70.9, my lowest resist in my second fit is 75.9 (also EM). When you apply gang links your EM resist is still lower than mine, albeit not much.

Difficult specifications. Here's a fit that gets 99km drone control range with all 5's and without dropping a launcher. If you upgrade to a t2 rig you can get another 5km of control.

That's not what EFT tells me, yours does the same 1104 most do, but it misses the omniD so you lose more drone dps and have low resists. It does use rigors which may help but I have this feeling we're talking about a POS bash ship where explosion radius is not an issue, not sure though.
