If money was no object, we could give every system its own tranquility-sized server node.

If money was no object, when you signed up for EVE, CCP would dispatch a team of engineers to your house to set up a direct line to the server.

If money was no object, we could dispatch teams of people to peoples houses to teach them that TiDi is a good thing, not a problem that needs to be fixed.

If money was no object you could pay people not to dogpile into a crowded system.

First of all, you don't want to remove tidi — you want to remove the conditions that triggers tidi. If you remove tidi and hit those conditions, things die horribly. Tidi is a solution, not a problem.

^This. I'm not sure why there's this ongoing quest for bigger battles when 10% TiDi and node crashes are clearly not fun. I've only been in one (CCP's last ill-fated foray into "live" events) - but that left a lasting impression.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
