Each T3 now gets bonuses to 3 types of links from the def subsystem, but the bonuses are now weaker then those provided by a command ship. Proteus gets bonuses to Armor, Skirmish and Info.

hmm this is odd, i efted it and the difference is really small. seems like proteus is still the way to go with regards to mobility.

There's only so many high slots on those ships, so it's not like you'll be running 9 links or anything (3 for each warfare type supported).

While the boost difference seems minor you do want to have the highest possible boosts usually when you actually use them. 2 Command Ships can cover all warfare types and use all links with maximum boosts, while 2 T3 can also cover them all they can't fit all of them, and their boost is lower. So depending on what you want it for, sure the T3 can be better if you want a bit of all, but CS are the better boosters.
