So me and my crew (5 dudes) were roaming in Nullsec when our scout pilot spots a Renter kronos on one of the gates. Our tackler goes for point, but then he realizes it cant point him. This kronos starts hitting hard, a nomen gets volleyed before being able to warp. We drop sentrys and start burning, we get to like 120k and see if we break his tank... Kronos appears 10k away from us with his mjd, we all warp in hull. How do you kill these things? (We had a curse on our gang)

Hints the person you are fighting was in fact a carebear
[✓ ] Located in 0.0
[✓ ] Found on a gate instead of a sanctum
[✓ ] Starts killing you
[✓ ] Closes range when you try to disengage

That said, 2-3 logi + some neuts and its dead. All you need is to able to stay on field long enough for the neuts to do their thing, and obviously have someone with a scram ready for when bastion drops.

True story a Paladin (and probably a kronos) can melt through logi fairly quick (so keep them far away) but yea definitely have neuts available

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

A Kronos pilot with expensive mods, implants and booster can bloody tank like a Carrier.

You will need plenty of nuets.

The problem is though, those neuts are in range of the Kronos so logi will be a must.

BTW calling somebody a carebear for making you run away... That raised an eyebrow.

These carebears now have the tools to fight outnumbered against elite PvP blobs by killing them or forcing them to run off on fire. Bastion is the savior of EVE!

Stop shiptoasting.

You just got served by an 800m solo BS because your gang aren't equipped (mentally or physically) to deal with a pvp situation, then you suggest he's a carebear.

Well I will suggest much less subtly, that you indeed are a moron.

Shouldn´t a single curse with bonused TD and neuts make quite short work of it?

Aslong as you have 2-3 logi then yes. If not then your curse will die.

OMG you guys lost to a carebear? Priceless!

You know what, its nothign but FAIR or you expected everyone in space to be weaker than you?

You simply attacked the most powerful subcapital ship in game, you need to come prepared.

So to summarize; you and four pals in pew cruisers get routed in hull with one loss to a carebear that didn't even point anyone ....

Off hand I'd say your 'problems' run a lot deeper and further than the bastion module. One caveat though (your honour may yet be intact), were you alone in the system or could he have had a link boat boosting him? The effect of those go through the roof when applied to already high values such as bastion modified stats. Other than that, MOAR! neuts

This. You got completely served by this guy, to the extent that he MJD'd away from the gate and safety to come kill you more. The fact that he didn't have a point himself is irrelevant.

btw, i would think the curse could neut him out rather fast if he wasn't fitting an injector.

Woah! That carebear sounds like good genetic material when he manages to drive you lot off... ;)

bingo, his pig not being a goat doesn't make the pig wrong, just him an idiot for shouting at his pig "WHY ARENT YOU A GOAT!" (Source)

If the curse was dumb enough to warp at the wrong range at start, it was probably the first one to be pounded into submission.

Its nto so hard to kill a marauder, you just cannot underestimate them.
