The development of WiS is tied directly to WoD.

They will continue to 'tinker' with the engine, they will continue to 'tinker' with some content but they will not invest any serious amount of resources into WiS until they know that they can reuse that work in WoD.

And currently they don't have the cashflow needed to take WoD out of the freezer.

Yeah, thats why Im so sad about WiS. :(
I wanted WoD so bad. I know its a fantasy to think that CCP can some day actually make it. And then it would be buggy and incomplete on launch and everyone would hate it..

I think you missed the part of my posting where I stated "WiS could have been made using any engine etc".
What I said and what you say is not that different. They did not work on EVE at all except for the stale cookie we got now.
The difference between us is: I want WiS as a feature and new FiS features. You only want FiS features.

The dumb thing I was refering to is that some FiS-only players think they have like won against the WiS/FiS players. Which is not the case. We have all lost 18 months. Now, as a "space barbie" I'm also offended that most of the love after all that time of waiting goes to the 0-Sec Blue Boys.

So wait a minute...you admit that we all lost 18 months but your super brilliant plan is for CCP to scratch all the work they put in to the current Incarna engine and start over? How many months will we lose then?

Nope, that is not my super-brilliant plan. I said "could have" not "should have" or "should be".

My super-brillant plan is to wait and see and never let them forget that there are people who want WiS in addition to space features. Because honestly, we can biatch at each other for eons and it will not change a thing.

Meanwhile I will also see just how entertaining a bit of rebalancing and some new shippies is for the whole of the EVE community... I think it can be amusing for a month or so...

I'm sure CCP will take your threat seriously.

What threat? I will not leave, I like the game.

I meant it could be amusing for everyone for a month or so to have that and then the boredom sets in when people realize the four ships are just another way to blow up stuff and the nebulas - weren't they like that forever? - etc, ...

And then the cries for more begin anew...

It's too bad so few people have the level of imagination and inventiveness that Goons do.
