Question about ISBOXER!! - Shock Shock HORROR SHOCK

I'm no expert but here is my take:

1) CCP really hates it when you make new accounts specifically to do a repetitive act. For instance, making a fresh account specifically to kill newbies over and over IS bannable.

2) While spamming applications is not as severe, it strikes me that they wouldn't like the concept of an account being created just to spam text.

3) So as long as it's continuously doable without making new accounts over and over, and not botted, I can't see a problem with it.

Incorrect. Biomassing characters with low security status in order to evade the consequences of suicide ganking is bannabale, creating new alts that then lie fallow with low security status is not bannable.

Regular gankers don't do either of those anyway, they either grind the sec status or just gank at -10.0

also, killing newbies over and over isn't allowed, pretty sure

While technically true, GMs are gonna look and see that you're being a ****, and they're not going to like it, and this will influence what they decide to do. OP shouldn't be surprised to catch a warning. Since OP specifically wants to dance around the limits of what is OK or not OK, then OP should realize he's playing with fire if he actually does this.

People have been banned for significant periods of time for accidentally pressing *start conversation* with their 20 isboxer characters. I would be absolutely astounded if CCP gave the ok for this.

I would think you will get a warning for this. It will cause a lot of lag on the recipient accouns, intentional lag at that and interfere with a normal function of the game (processing of applications).

It is unlikely a breach of the ToS for the following reasons:

-you are still manually controlling the characters, but broadcasting the way you moved your mouse and keystrokes to all clients.
-a person without ISBoxer or like programs can do this if they have the same number of accounts
-application spamming, as far as i have known, has never gotten someone banned.


The reason ISBoxer is allowed is because it is not automating the process for me, i still do the manual commands (warp, target, assign, F1). Because I am still hitting F1 it is allowed. if the program hit F1 for me, aka automation or botting, via a macro or something then i could be banned.
