Best/Worst New Feature in 2013

What is your favorite and most hated feature introduced to EVE in 2013?
It can be anything: new ship, rebalance, game mechanic, etc.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Scan probe preset. I cant believe we used to set em manually one by one. Ugh

Worst:
Loot spew from sites. (Not because of spew actually but mainly because there is no diversity. You always pick up PARTS, MATERIALS.... from Relic Sites. So why spew at all.)

Nothing was hurtful enough to be bad. Maybe giving SOMER free Ishukone Scorps. I mean, that's a new feature for them.

Overall though, bravo CCP. Perfect mediocrity avoids subscriber losses.

EDIT: No, wait, that's unfair, I completely forgot Rubicon. Yeah fair enough that was a pretty good expansion compared to the last few.

Warp speed...finally.

Worse:

Tent cities.

Worst:

ToS changes. I believe if you have the permission of the player you are impersonating, you should be able to impersonate.

But meh, what can you do?

Overall 2013 wasn't bad outside of the various "non-manufactured drama," like ToS, Blink, and so on.

Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

Best - small ship warp speed changes.

Worst - large ship warp speed changes.

Freighters feel freaking slow now. I know on some trips they are faster but the feel of it seems off.

Worst Ongoing Issue: DUST.

Worst Change: Removal of Jukebox.

Worst Attempt at "New Content": Changing "Custom's Offices" to POCO's, in Hi Sec... and fobbing it off as "new" content.


Coolest Actual New Stuff: SOE ships. That's it.

Best: compare tool, ISIS, command ship rework, marauder rebalance, warp speed consistency, radial tools (especially this), jumpgate animation, revamped scanner, SOE faction craft, new deployable structures, rapid heavy missile launchers, new certificate system, Navy battlecruisers and Navy rebalance, new approach to signatures and anomalies, new station hanger visuals, interceptor rebalance, Leopard
Worst: fart-out hacking containers, hisec player pocos (maybe - the jury is still out), jukebox removal

There's real reasons why your Eve character doesn't do /dance.

If I could count it as a "feature", the worst would certainly be that CCP is still giving out unfair advantages to certain organisations (special "action tracking interface" or whatever it's called, special edition ships, teleporting players to POLARIS space, and so on), and we STILL don't know which exact criteria you have to meet to qualify for these things. That's pretty much my only gripe.

If I had to pick an actual feature that was implemented, I think it would be the jump animation.

As for best, I'm happy that CCP is so forthcoming and open. I don't need to be afraid of repercussions for voicing my opinion or speaking frankly.

But I guess that's not a feature of the game, per se. I really like that you can make chat channel invite links the same way you have fleet invite links, that's a neat new feature. At least I think it's new?

Worst: The new "hacking"

Nobody wanted it, nobody needs it, it doesn't serve any purpose except giving CCP the excuse of having put something into the game that wasn't in it before and claiming it's "new"and it's way too simplistic. I want a proper minigame not some mindless clickfest.

Best: ISIS

Very nice. I'm looking forward to the different kinds of nice looking tech trees CCP can build with it now that the big chunk of the work is done.

worst: changing ice fields into 4 hour respawn anoms, instead of making them like ore anoms
