I don't think so. DDoS is a sort of business and has its own black market of services. These ddosers either worked for someone who paid them, or tried to advertise themselves to wider audience (to receive more orders in the future).

Good luck stealing mine - I specifically use prepaid cards (although if I could buy Game Time Codes in my country I'd use those).

They wouldn't get much after I've extended my account with the best subscription deal, then buy as many PLEX I can with the rest.

As to D-DOS attacks, most of them rely on a "zombie network" of computers to generate the amount of internet traffic required to shut down a system essentially designed to keep running after a nuclear attack.

So, as a general policy, you should encourage everybody you know to keep their virus software up to date and their firewalls on.

A lot of internet service providers and game corporations (cough, So Ney) are unwilling they have been hacked and customer details have been stolen, or make a serious effort to shut down afflicted computers.

International borders make the cost of a trial too much to bother with, even assuming their home country is willing to extradite or deport them.
