We have. There are no subcap fleets or tactics that will break one of these carrier fleets. This means that most of playerbase are useless in a fight against these and every single alliance has no hope of ever winning a fight. Only two powers have the ability to beat these and one of them is the party using it.

So, when we talk about "ruining it for everyone else" let get our facts right. CCP have stated time and time again that they will never allow the game to turn into capitals online.

Capitals Online: getin edition

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

the whole Capitals Online thing was in reaction to a whole mess of different issues, not just PvP and certainly not in just specific PvP scenarios.

For instance: people 'plexing in carriers.

The idea that the game has become "Capitals Online" just because they are a dominant strategy of defending and attacking in the largest escalated fights within the current metagame....is silly. Roll

For the vast, vast, vast majority of EVE, capitals have close to zero relevance.

But, since they are relevant in killing goons and claiming their tears, we have threads like these Lol

If it beats goons, it's overpowered.

We have seen several nerfs to capitals when they became impossible to kill to anything other than more capitals, this is no different.

I checked the killboard and there are plenty of capital deaths.

It's almost as if people feel the need to post random and arbitrary internet-space-politics in relation to game mechanics as if it makes sense.

Hint: it doesn't.

Archons die all the time.

Just because you haven't managed to kill a particular fleet of particular archons does not mean you should cry so much.

AOE titans used to die, so did Directional DD titans, as did tracking titans and motherships.

They all saw nerfs because when in a fleet they were unkillable to subcaps and the only counter was more capitals. This Archon fleet is unkillable to subcaps and falls under the exact same criteria as all of those old capital fleets that have been nerfed over the years.

AOE titans, completely balanced because one of them might be caught logged off and killed

I do like how desperate some people seem to be. progodlegend's dream musn't be allowed to die to ccp balancing

I doubt it's unkillable. That's basically the definition of whining. You're probably doing the same crappy strategy over and over like a broken record from an insane asylum. Your enemy has intelligently countered you.

This implies your enemy is using an OP tactic?

hmmmmm, sorry. I do not agree.

So they are going to restrict players from getting into capitals? That's the only way i'm afraid.

The only way to counter them is to aplha them off the grid before they can apply their reps. No subcap fleet can put out that kind of firepower.

You are using the same old sorry arguments in an attempt to keep an unbalanced fleet in the game that were used for tracking titans, swarm motherships and AOE doomsdays
