Would be a shame if CCP stepped in and disrupted this war before it really gets going.

Grath has repeatedly insisted that nerfing drone assist wont have an impact on slowcats.

That said, if it happens before the current war is resolved it is going to look extremely suspect and engender a lot of ill will.

I'd also be disappointed because Gallente is actually useful for once in 0.0 warfare

Just means individuals have to target again. Slowcats are powerful because you can't ******* kill them fast enough without dreads, and slowcats have no problem targeting dreads.

You mean like the supercapital rebalancing was done at the same time CFC attacked White Noise. back in late '11?
Granted the rebalance was done pretty early in the war, but you still saw CFC perma-MWD Drakes fly directly into tracking titans.

If CCP decides to "rebalance" drone assisting now, they're doing it because CFC can't win and realised it.
It will have nothing to do with game balance.

Wouldn't go that far, DA is pretty borked. Not to the extent the CFC are whining about it though.

Yup, I'd say it has all the hallmarks of a done deal. Shame we don't have any CSM minutes showing this subject was discussed at length.

Actually, we'd rather see this war through and end your pitiful coalition's existence with drone assist intact so that you chaff won't bleat "we only lost because CCP intervened" until the end of time, but we can't predict what CCP will do!

I'd believe you if it wasn't for the words and actions of your coalition.
Look, I get it, you may have that desire. You personally.
But your collective amount of crying, whining, calls to have X, Y and Z nerfed every time you're at war (Even though you know what would counter X and Y) and the that GSF CEOs are on record for wanting to ruin not the game but our game... Along with, of course, crying foul when others uses tactics that aren't fun for you, but when you're using tactics along the same line it's just good strategy ...

Just be aware that you're in a clear minority when it comes to CFC posters.

The clear majority of CFC posters would like nothing more than a CCP-given victory.

Which is why I edited out the "we", because I can't really speak for a bunch of sperglords who seem to think that N3 is anything but the same glass-jawed ****-heap we fought in Fountain that literally has no way to defend their space without the help of PL.

We're not above using tactics we consider overpowered when we do have the advantage of being able to do so. That isn't hypocrisy, that's playing the best card in hand, same reason you're using "Sphere 2.0" and massed slowcats to defend timers. On our turf, under our terms, you'd be fighting the exact same thing. These forums, /r/eve, Kugu and N3 SOTAs/war updates would all be filled with criticism against cynojammer mechanics and what-have-you, only by N3 members.

This just in: N3PL exclusively are using drone assist and nerfing it is a nerf to them alone.

You guys know exactly what is to come, but will never admit it cos you'll loose that tool and NDA info almost instantly...
