No engine sound after undocking workaround

Hi

I'm a new player I was searching for ages on these forums for a fix as I noticed my engine sounds on ships had stopped working. I tried clearing cache running repair tool etc but no different.

The fix I found was not use the captain;s quarters view inside stations. If you just use the hangar view inside stations and when you undock the sound of the engines work.

Anyway hope this helps for anyone with similar problem. I have logged it as a bug with a support ticket but no response yet.

make sure to report this to the devs too with a proper bug report ingame.

Doing it ingame will automatically attach game logs and your system specs and you can even send a screenshot.

I say file your log just after undocking from captain's quarters so if there's an error message in the logs for the audio engine they can see it.

This is what happens when CCP caters to the people who want more realism in Eve. There is no sound in space.
