Jeezuz OP, why the hell do you want to be in an "alliance" that almost every other EvE player is in? Do you really lack that much personality? Goonswarm is certainly not what it used to be - none of the older alliances are. You'll probably learn a lot more and have more fun joining someone smaller.



Honestly, fun. Plain and simple fun. They do silly fleets, with the vast numbers they have theres not going to be moaning about people ratting and not joining cta's etc.

Also it would be a change something different

Well I wont lie it did make me think, tried to join goonswarm a long time ago, but couldn't get past all the attempted scams and refused to pay to join the SA forums

Have you considered asking any of the non Goonwaffe corps in the federation if they also have the SA requirement?

I hear the other corps actually do contribute greatly to the alliance, for example baltec1 (who the megathron baltecfleet is named after)
is in "Bat Country", not sure whether BC only accepts SA members or not though.

Goonwaffe is from SA, the other membercorps are from elsewhere, that should be obvious.
