HI guys and gals,

Most all of us have seen the mechanic that involves chasing down cans when you successfully hack a data or relic site. (cans shoot out from all directions).

I am new to data and relic sites but I notice that I am, what seems like tractor beaming them in my cargo hold. It doesn't seem like salvaging but the question remains does the 5% bonus to salvager cycle time aid you in the scramble for loot (cans) that pop out? and if not that what does help get more cans of loot (other then a second person helping grab them).

Thanks

might want to read this --> https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=303887&find=unread tl:dr = just go for 'Parts' then 'Materials' or 'Data' if there are any BP's

I don't think the cycle timer helps but there is a a Neural interface plug in that gives you 5 seconds extra.

For getting the most spew, you need to be as close to the can as you can get, use look to focus on the can. Grab the best based on the table linked, ignoring scrap. You have a queue of one so this can be used to effect. Click the first then click the second. Wait until you see the tractor work, then click the third always staying one ahead. In the end stuff will be getting further away, so you will need to chase the last one or two by moving towards them.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.
