Sometimes I think they make too many changes as it is. Someone cries, they change something. another person cries, they change something else. Sometimes things just are not broken, people are just to lazy to learn how to over come what is blocking their way. Any way you shake it though, whatever changes made, those that enjoy the game will adapt.

As for grinding, you like grinding, grind away. I don't see how they have take the purpose away form it. Its just not the highlight of the game. Their are other aspects that are taking a front seat. Some good, some so so. Either way, their is still so much to this game that if its something you want to do, its here. Just to do it. but don't make the rest of us have to do the stuff that dosnt interest us.

The idea about needing a high standing to use the items is...unpleasant, let's say.
But it's true that if the standings are not meaningless it would be nice if they were more significant.

The downside of anything that makes standings a requirement for faction mod use is it will make "balanced standings " optimal and faction war which kills standing balance will die.

You didn't read what you quoted, did you ?
I wrote that I'm against standing need for use, but I'm not against other perks.
For example needing a high faction standing to be able to buy the pricer LP items would go with the fact that you need big amounts of LP, it would be sensible even if it does not change much, bar for blitzers who decline again and again and destroy their standing while doing so.
