I have to admit, I'm at a loss as to who to nominate. I'm unsure if the people I would put forward would be honored or insulted to be nominated. Regardless I'll be putting forth a few names, as I see no provision limiting the amount of nominees I suggest.

The late Raze Valadeus and his wife Victoria. Simply put, for being what I feel Amarrians should be in their heart of hearts. Raze and his wife may not have been the most capable swords of the Empire but they were certainly capable hands of God. The two of them were guiding lights for other children of the Empire. And yes, perhaps that light may have cast shadows some would rather not see, or bring things into view that people would prefer to leave in the dark corners of their lives, they were none the less fiercely burning lights. Flicker as they might with failings, failings we all have as humans, their light burned with a purity of faith I've not seen before or since.

Next, and no doubt feathers shall be ruffled by this but, Tiberious Thessalonia. I won't be making any attempt to disregard his recent choice, but I will point out that this award stipulates a 12-month period not just the most recent events. With that in mind, I again feel that Tiberious, in some ways, is an Amarrian cut from the same cloth as Raze and Victoria. An Amarrian who's faith lead him to speak out against commonly accepted tradition and methods. Who was brave enough to acknowledge that we Amarr, while being the chosen of God, are not perfect and that our own path is as rife with trials and missteps as any other child of the Divine. There are those who will cry out that he is now a heretic, a betrayer of the faith as well as humanity, but I am not prepared to forget who he was and what he did prior to recent events. To continue the analogy of faith and light, I'll add that even a dim, flickering, and seemingly distant light can, at times, be the light that provides a soul lost at sea with the guidance they need to reach the shore.

Now, as for the award for the ethnically non-Amarrian, Ni-Kunni, or Khanid, I was tempted to nominate Elsebeth Rhiannon or Ava Starfire for providing the more militant "Loyalists" with something to keep you all busy. But with further thought I realized that even in jest that be contrary to the spirit of this award. With their quick words and occasional shortness of temper, along with hostile intent, they do indeed provide you with something to keep you all busy, however that doesn't help further Imperial interests. In fact it harms the long term interests of the Empire, which I'm sure they'll both be at least partly glad to hear. But by being visible and challenging the words of the Loyalist Bloc they distract you from more in depth study of the Scriptures, keeping you blind to truth and clinging more to tradition than you do faith. So in short, no non-ethnic Amarrian, Ni-Kunni, or Khanid come to mind for me to nominate.

I think I can safe say I'm of the same mind as ever True loyal Amarrian when I say the former son of a Amarr Turned Abomination by his own free will known as Tiberious Thessalonia is not a valid choice.

I will admit I wanted to nominate him too but his fall from grace renders this an impossibility and only goes to illustrate a lesson as to what happens when a weak willed liberilist gains immortality.

Lest us hope his tragic tale serves as a lesson to all so that some good may come out of this formerly good man.

Darkness is more then absence of light, it is ignorance and corruption. I will be the Bulwark from such things that you may live in the light. Pray so my arms do not grow weary and my footing remain sure.

If you are brave, join me in the dark.

I am delighted about being nominated again this year and I appreciate the sentiment, but this is a serious and solemn imperial event and lampoonery has no place here.

That said, I would like to nominate this guy for Imperial servant, just cause I wanna see his name on the list.

I thank those of you who have nominated me or this award.

However, the loyalists are right. To nominate me for this award, especially in the same vein as one would nominate my deceased friend Raze (posthumously) would indicate that I have died.

This will not do.

I will make this promise, though. I will continue to fight for a real peace in the cluster, where all men and women and various in-betweens will be free to create, and live, and love, free from pain and despair.

As for my nomination, I want to Nominate Raze and Victoria Valadeus for their unfailing faith, their determination to show the love of the Empire to everyone, for honor unparalelled, their willingness to take their fellow Amarr to task when anger seemed about to overwhelm their hearts and good sense, for their honesty and caring, there is no single living Amarr who can stand as tall as them, with the exception of perhaps Lord Pitoojee.

I would like to nominate Mystical Might, for the following reasons:
Great progress against the Tribal Liberation Force and their allies who hide behind "neutrality".
Continuing to be highly entertaining in milita chat, thereby increasing the morale of the entire crusade.
Last but not least, accusing enough people of being spies to keep people on their toes.

Honestly, rewards don't seem quite as impressive as they were 3 years ago.

If he has appeased his betters sufficiently, may my former kinsman enjoy his new gold-plated collar and leash.

Faithful brothers and sisters,

it has come to my attention that many unworthy heathens have already promoted more or less suitable candidates in this forum.

I think I speak for us all if I nominate the venerable Nadika as faithful amarrian of the year. Despite her humble origins it is her who promotes the profileration of high quality equipment amongst her betters.

In regards to the nomination of a loyal servant I am not quite as sure since I do not have any interrest in the meddling of subhumans, be they loyal to the empire or not.
However, I have been asked by my brothers of the faith, and also through the overseer of our slaves by them, to nominate a certain Flyinghotpocket. Aparently this breeder is getting a certain ammount of coverage in local media as a combat pilot fighting for the empress cause.

May God bless you all faithful brothers and sisters,

the humble Anselm Gruen.

I'm sure you were paid very well for this public service message of endorsement.

But don't presume to speak for me old man.

Also anyone who is truly humble would never draw attention to that point, just saying.

Not think you get a vote but yes I would like to 2nd (or 3rd ) Flyinghotpockets nomination for the loyal servant award.

For the Amarrian Capsuleer of the Year I'd like to nominate Codo Yagari of the Yulai Guard 1st fleet.

I would like to nominate Aldrith Shutaq, one of the only one that remained true to his beliefs until the end, and showed an impressive benevolent cunning as well.

Mystical Might is a known pirate. Unless of course you consider that piracy under the flag in the regions of the Bleak Lands and Devoid is the best way to serve the Empire.

Maybe I should stop shooting Minmatar Sympathizers, and let them run amok while they kill other Amarrians. Blink.
