Secure containers

I've noticed that if someone is able to acquire my secure container, regardless of any password, they can simply 'repackage' it and obtain my 'password protected' goods.

I'm kind of new, so bare with me.
If I keep the container in a cargo hold in a ship, is there any way for someone to acquire it?
Also, I read about anchoring. Is there any way around this?
I mean, say I take a secure container and i anchor it out in space somewhere.
Is there any skill that can trump my anchor?

Thanks

If you anchor for corp, only players with the right corp permission can unanchor. Anchor for self = only you can remove it. Not touching it for 30 days = Concord removes it and keeps the stuff inside. Speaking of which, they won't let you anchor in 0.8+

There is always the option to destroy the container.

Either wartargets or people who don't mind going global can still destroy your secure container with all it's goodies inside.

50k isn't much, considering a non-pimped Catalyst can break 700 DPS. It would take just over a minute of shooting to do that for a single person.

The large containers, despite having significantly more HP, can still be brought down in under 10 minutes by a determined person, and even less time with more than one person.

Doesn't Concord like, come shoot you when you engage someone's anchored container out in space? If they don't, I'm sure all those SPAM containers around gates in high-sec advertising some flarb or otherwise would get killed on a daily basis.

They do, so you'd need ~5 metacats to kill a 50k hp can in .5, more if higher security. I'm not sure why, considering depots and tractors are shootable, which seems quite inconsistent to me.

Old code, probably to protect miners using secure cans as depots.
