Probably not. And honestly it hasn't changed that much.

People on the ball had scouts with probes out scanning for new sigs.

The discovery scanner only scans once per minute. so people on the ball still use a scout with probes.

Amazingly pleny of people still run sites or do things like mining with open connections.

Bottom line, people that did everything to be hard to catch are still hard to catch. Those who fly sloppy can still get caught.

Does it really, I was under the impression that it does it a lot quicker. For example, when chain rolling a wormhole, the scanner will always pick up the new static sig as soon as it spawns. Spamming scans with my probes over the system never gets me it any faster.

Same usually pops up within 10 seconds of the old hole going pop

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

Session change? All things static it takes around a minute.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

When a sig disappears, the list refreshes immediately. This is why new statics appear automatically.

When a new sig appears, as far as I've been able to tell it doesn't show up in the list until the list is refreshed, such as by checking/unchecking the "Show Anomalies" check box. I've never had a new sig show up without refreshing the list.

Oh god, for the sake of Bob, please don't.
We'll be infested by n00bs trying to solo the holes and loosing their way back out, in order to start posting "need exit from jxxxxxx" or having local manned for ever to what drop the silence.
