PLEX for Pizza Legality?

So SWIM gas a couple of poor fleet-mates, like IRL

On occasion SWIM has ordered them pizza for mining fleet nights and in exchange took 100% of the haul.

Is this a legitimate arrangement?


Indirectly it is a translation of ISK to Physical goods.

A) Saying SWIM is stupid. You're not avoiding self-incrimination at all, because we know "SWIM" is a lie.
The fact that certain disreputable forums insist on it baffles me.

B) The forums are not a good place to ask this. We can't give you a definitive answer and again, you're self-incriminating.

C) Petitions are a better place to ask. Albeit, of course, you're still self-incriminating. You should have asked before you did it.

D) The answer is most likely no, this is not a legitimate arrangement.

E) Get ready for the shitstorm.

Is this really something to worry about?

Even if it is against the rules, who cares, it's pizza.

Seems fairly innocent and good intentioned rather than an attempt to make money off the game or something else sinister.

ccp organise it please... do a deal with dominoes or pizza hutt :)

mining i can do afk while eating glorious pizza. not entirely sure that same principle applies with being a hooker.

anyway a pizza costs more than you're going to earn mining in an evening.

PLEX for Pizza would see the markets purged of PLEX.

It'd be pretty fun actually. Cash in a couple of PLEX and get a redeem code for dominoes (with a substantial mark-up for CCP no doubt)... It would somehow make all the hours of grinding seem so much more... edible.

I cant afford to pay for EVE but i'm still playing thanks to that wonderful thing called plex, making ISK buys me a plex, so by that same logic one could pay a friend the value of a plex for them to order the RL value of said plex in pizza for you, pretty sure its against the EULA however as you're not lalowed to trade RL goods for ingame money, but by that same note how would CCP know unless someone petitioned him because he did not deliver the pizza :P

Seriously, a free pizza for a night of mining seems like a deal. It better be a decent pizza though, not some one topping small POS. I'm talking a large family sized with at very least italian sausage, pepperoni, and black olives please. Cool

Most cabbies where I live will deliver beer as long as you pay for the beer and it's transport, and show ID upon receipt.

As a matter of fact, several. The local Buschamies will deliver pizza, beer, liquor, cigarettes and what ever else they carry. You get an entire evenings supply in one delivery. Also one of the local pizza shops has a driver that will stop and get whatever else you need (Think this is for the regulars, or maybe just the good tippers)
