Was a great episode!

The day of the doctor back to back with the Christmas episode was probably the best 2 episode pair of the new who. I'm sure Capaldi will be interesting.

The regeneration sort of left me "Thats it..?". Normally at that point i would feel a mix of excited and sad (granted im also a David Tennant fan and i do look forward to seeing how Matt's replacement will do.

Im guessing it will be like when David first started...sort of slow, giving my time to actually "grow" with the character. With Matt it was more "This is the new doctor! He is completely different but you wont get 5 minutes to adjust your mindset".

In simple words, i have high hopes for Peter, and it will be nice to see a bit "older" person as the doctor. I am curious on how his new personality will be tho (im hoping not as "silly" as Matt but more like David with a healthy mix of humor and seriousness, not making it seem like everything is a joke).

But, The day of the doctor was awesome, and so was the season finale! Cant wait to see the next season Big smile
