The align time of the ship is the same as any other shuttle, with an inertia factor of 1.00.
(Comparison: Ares =0.32, and lower is better).

These beauties can be nailed by an instalock thrasher, or inty....maybe, if the Leopard gets bumped at a gate, or if the Leopard pilot gets lazy.

What I quite like is that the asshats in Rancer with smartbombing BS's may not even be able to touch them, assuming the Leopard pilot does not travel gate to gate, but uses an off-angle safespot.
Anyone know, do smart bombs go off at the beginning or end of the cycle?

It is almost conceivable that this ship will be on the next gate before it even registers in local, if one uses the ascendancy implants.

I see prices are actually moving up, as opposed to down, already.

It is fast as stink, and thus great fun to fly.

Only thing I'd want to change is the "skin".... some bright red racing stripes would be awesome. Blink

It actually made me laugh out loud the first warp I did with it. Thought it was funny how fast it comes out of warp and stops. Also, I love the color of it.

I've seen people pop normal shuttles just to try and pop the pod inside, so I'm sure these will be even better targets for them.

What I found funny, or perhaps it's my shoddy graphic card, is that the Leopard is way the Hell off in warp before the cloaking effect of the previous jump has worn off.

And I mean WAAAAAY off, and not the few thousand meters you can sometimes squeeze out of the game by various tricks.

Mrrm? An Ares has 3.1x. It's also based on mass, and shuttles weigh nothing.

Base align time of a shuttle is something like 1.25 seconds with max skills, where an Ares is 2.8 seconds (or with double nanos around 2).

What is the speed limitation that the server can handle? I imagine there has to be a limit to how quickly you can get into warp and drop from warp.

Imagine warping so fast that you essentially blip from one point to another. Would the server be able to keep up with it?

The Leopard is pretty much warping away by the time you can try to click it to target it. Unless you are smart bombing or catch it in a bubble in nullsec you aren't catching it.
