Cannot see Orca Mining Links graphics

Hello,

For some reason (tested on two different computers), when I run mining links on an Orca there isn't a link animation. When I run command ships and I run non-mining links the animation works fine. I tested this on an Damnation.

Is there a setting or some reason I can see other people's Orca link graphics but not my own? I have all my graphic settings set to high. Anti-aliasing is turned off.

I still get the Orca bonuses, so this is more of an annoying issue that a problem.
