Thank you. Say what you will, Snot shot is a known Eve Online personality for a reason. I'm glad he was able to visit the cast.

Telegram Sam visits Arydanika and Intern Smurf (that’s Smurf Soldier’s new name) to discuss his Pod and Planet Fiction Contest. If you’re in to writing fiction or even just reading fiction, this contest is the one to take notice of. Sam tells us all about how he was able to partner with sponsors like CCP Games and others to put together a spectacular contest with equally appealing prizes. We also delve in to his motivations behind the contest, the fantastic prizes and how Benjamin Franklin was the inspirational force which caused this contest to surpass even it’s creator’s expectations.

We also spend a little time covering the general state of fiction in Eve Online or more to the point; the lack thereof. Where are those wonderful Chronicles we used to get from the Story Line developers? What topics should CCP focus on for the next series of Chronicles? What’s going on with the Arek’ Jalaan project? We even delve into the Eve Online novels and the strange disappearance of bookstores across the US (The Jovians?). Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper fiction episode if we didn’t talk about the creativity of the player base, fan faction & player fiction projects.

Good episode Ary, as always.

However I have a request. Due to, I’m sure, completely unfounded and ridiculous rumours regarding identity of that goon hating scallywag Snot Shot and our beloved CSM Alek of Noir. it is necessary to take decisive action to protect the honour and good name of all (or ad least some) involved. So to that end I would suggest you organise and broadcast debate between one Snot Shot of pizza people and one Alekseyev Karrde of Noir. merc organisation. Suggested topic of debate would be value of friendship and merits and demerits of specific ponies.

What is more important then topic itself is that distressed masses of EVE could finally set their fears to rest when hearing with their own ears that honoured CSM representative Alekseyev Karrde is indeed distinctive and separate entity form that scoundrel Snot Shot.

If you are, by some most unfortunate circumstances, unable to organise such debate by yourself I’m sure you can make good use your great reputation and influence to persuade Mr. Karrde to host Mr. Snot Shot on Mr. Karrde's own podcast Declarations of War, in either an interview or debate format. As it is in Mr. Karrde's best interest to once and for all dispel slanderous and unfounded rumours circulating about his identity I’m sure he will not waist opportunity like this to clean his good name.

Best regards
S. Wolf

S. Wolf you are certainly a devilish one. Let me see what I can whip together for a future episode. You are right. The public deserves to be reassured after such a scandal.

Welcome to the first episode of Elise and Laz show. The episode started out being the first of what I hoped would be many of episodes focusing on Fleet Commanding in Eve Online. However, this episode turned out to be that and a whole lot more; all of which Elise is certain to take credit for.

Special thanks for Elise Randolph [Pandemic Legion] and Lazarus Telraven [Goonswarm Federation] for guesting on and then hijacking this special episode. Weighting in at 2:30 hours Elise and Laz discuss from of the ins and outs of Fleet Commanding in a large Null Security Space power block. We detail various fleet compositions, tactics & reasons behind some of the choices Fleet Commanders in Eve Online make.

No topics is left behind. Seriously, these two cover just about everything. Listen to Elise ramble on about bombers & why he hates FCing them only to magnificently bring the conversation back to the actual topic & fleet fight being discussed. Hear tales from Laz about the harrowing feats of Eve Online’s very own Black Knight (of Monty Python fame); IRC. The two even reveal their more sinister secrets such as how Elise doesn’t actually DDoS people and the secret late night LoL matches shared between Laz & Elo.

If you concerned about being one big Goonfest… don’t worry. It is! However, the phrase, “According to The Mitanni…” is only used once. We also do our best not to talk that much **** about -A-, but it is -A- and they are no Gypsy Band.

And for the love of all that is good and plenty, someone PLEASE give Laz an Adrestia. Just… please. Give/sell/get him that ship. Also, get better Laz. ♥

Thank you so much. Battle Reports will become a part of the regular podcast n alternated weeks. In fact, Episode 60 has a very special guest who knows a lot about ship fits and PvP tactics. They'll be joining me to talk about the New Eden Open matches. It's going to be a great episode.

Episode 59 will be fantastic as well. The creator of Fleet-Up.com will join me to talk about their brand new app especially made with FCs in mind.

This week’s guest is Wacktopia, the developer behind the new Eve Online tool Fleet-Up.com. This small gang PvP enthusiast has created the FCs best friend of Eve Online Apps. Fleet-Up.com is a comprehensive tool which allows corporations and alliances to create, maintain and pass on information about operations, fits, doctrines to it’s members in one neat little on-line package. It even comes with some useful reporting tools to help FCs get the most out of their fleet.

This episode is basically broken up in to two segments. There’s the first segment where everything is going fine and the topics focus on the important things like security, ‘is this just a scam’ and what’s next in line for development. The second segment is where Dani runs out of questions and the conversation just sprawls in to Retribution, Theories about the summer expansion and general good old fashioned spaceships. In all, it’s a pretty fantastic episode. Enjoy.

Welcome to Episode 60 of Voices from the Void where we learn that I still don't know crap about Eve Online. Lucky for you (and for me) the human EFT app himself, Mr. Balance 101, CCP Fozzie, comes to visit. He corrects all of my errors and schools me when it comes to proper internet spaceships. The episode is jammed full of great content including the New Eden Open and Retribution.

In case you've been living in the wrong end of Querious, the New Eden Open is Eve Online's first cash prize tournament with the purse generously given by Own3d.TV. A host of developers have come together to make this first a success. Fozzie gives us the inside scoop on the updated UI courtesy of Veritas and Arrow. On the commentary booth there's CCP Handsome, Soundwave, Dolan and Fozzie who are all familiar faces much to the surprise of some. Of course we can't forget the brave souls behind the camera including Bro and Foxfour. Our discuss takes us through the bans, trends for The Open and reviews of some of the first days matches.

The second portion of the interview covers Retribution; Eve Online's next expansion and the expansion with the most ship balancing... ever. Fozzie gives us a candid look at what it's like to be the new dev on the island and what it's like to be a player on the inside. Forum feedback, the CSM and the dirty business of balance are all covered. So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this drivel and get listening.

This week’s episode features the colorful and dynamic leadership team of Suddenly Spaceships. The line up includes Buhhdust Princess, the lovable alliance leader, Conmen, conqueror-jester-poet of the universe, and Seldarine, Eve tournament team Captain and darling. They have also taken third place in Eve Online very first New Eden Open this past Sunday so a big congratulations to them!

As good as these guys are at derailing a conversation, even they must succumb to solid internet spaceship conversation. We start off with the obvious New Eden Open discussion where CCP Dolan’s deepest secret is revealed. We then move on to take a close look at the small gang PvP alliance Suddenly Spaceships and answer many questions include who they are, what they do, their PvP philosophies and their amazing new alliance logo. The fellas even share some of the features they anticipate most in Retribution.

Welcome to a new year of Voices from the Void. This episode starts things off with a bang with two very special guests. This week CCP Soundwave (Stoffer) and CCP Guard (Svenni) join me to talk about… well.. everything. For some reason I’ve developed sudden onset ADHD when it comes to Eve Online and these two just went along with it. A big thank you to Stoffer and Svenni who are always a pleasure and to CCP Falcon who helped me set this whole thing up… twice.

The first portion of the interview is just Stoffer and I. We talk a little bit about Retribution, the future of Eve, POS:es and just space ships in general. Svenni joins us for the second portion of the interview where we talk about Fanfest 2013 and the guys give pointers for maximizing your trip to Iceland. Want to know what to pack, where to stay and the best places to eat? Then listen to the episode. You should also listen to the episode if you like space ships.

Remember:

PS – Stoffer was wearing a Voices from the Void tee shirt complete with custom pony (done by the daughter of EveTimeCode.com ‘s Diana Dial) during this interview. He wears my shirt! :3
