This might sound strange but I feel I fly better when drunk. When I'm sober I tend to overthink things or simply chicken out.

Hmmm lets see, I got drunk the one night and was out ratting. Ended up clearing the rats out of all the belts and making money. Annoyed various alliance members on teamspeak.

Last saturday, got drunk again... I am not sure what happened exactly. Did not lose anything... but there was a whole bunch of arkonor in my inventory. Drunken mining.

I got drunk one night and decided to get a jump on things by autopiloting my jump freighter to Jita so I could go to sleep. Apparently being drunk makes one forget about war-decs....

Didn't want that JF anyway. My motto is "if I'm gonna fail, I'm gonna beat everyone else at it".

Found a frigate at the Sun on Dscan so I warped to 100 expecting it to be there and had to slow boat all the way to him, 98km off me.

I then proceeded to warp scram said frigate and call back the pilot I was flying with from four jumps away.

When he landed in system he then said "Dude you still have it pointed?" To which I replied "Yes, why?"...

"It's empty you ******* ******, you're the only one in local..."

Sadly, I have never been so absolutely hammered that I did something remarkably amazing or stupid in this game. I fly under the influence constantly, but never when I'm blackout drunk, so no, I never overpaid for a carrier, or fell asleep at the wheel, or biomassed a main character. None of that silliness ever when down... thankfully.

There is one incident that stands out however, involving my brand new Hyperion and a nano Domi. Back in ye olde days, when the Hypes were first introduced and nano Domis were all the rage, I flew my shiny new Hyperion into Syndicate with a fleet and encountered a nano Domi pilot who was just as liquored up as we were. Our frigates furiously chased him around a station while I plinked away at him with the Hype's massive guns, never so much as scratching him. We were all (including him) laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes. This was later confirmed with him over comms. The hilarity continued for almost half an hour as he'd zip to one spot, then zoom to another, our frigate pilots steaming furiously and simultaneously giggling like idiots every time he'd make a miraculous escape as soon as they approached scram range.

The whole situation was just so ridiculous. I mean, we could flatten a small cruiser gang or mash up a few battleships, but no, not this Domi... not this insanely fast and impish Domi... who had loaded his ship out specifically to screw with people like us. After a while, one pilot in our fleet screams "Screw this... get the Hyperion!", and 12 people start locking me up. Needless to say, they never actually shot me down, but that was the icing on the cake for the evening.

Apart from docked crackups, that drunken roam will forever be stuck in my memory.
