Being killed trying to do missions.

I agree... Unless I'm really hurting on security status I'll go for the pod. Even though the pod wont drop anything the kill can often exceed the ship kill by many times.

This just shows that some pilots in Eve have a heart. I hope you can help the OP out.

Seriously... High sec is safe, this guy hasn't read the rule book. If you ask me, High sec is the most dangerous place to be. And AFK, I was glad they did things to stop the AFK crap. Makes the game more of a game. You want a safe place to be to shot at things, you need to go to Null sec. Its the safest you ever will be. Least you can see whats coming at you. High sec, you never know who is friend or foe. Low sex, least you have a 50/50 chance. Glad you lost your Rattler, and your POD, or your fiend did, whatever it is. You want to be AFK, dock it up or turn it off. Stop your bitching, put your big girl panties on, and go after the smart guy who sent you back to the station where you belong.

I don't think people understand that even when their ships get blown up, they are helping out the economy. The stuff you loot in missions wouldn't be worth near as much without pvp. There are more blown up ships in high sec than anywhere else. Complaining about what actually fills your pockets is rather silly.

Have you ever considered that why your friend could be attacked in high sec?
You can avoid pvp more easily instead of completely in high sec.
