Is it unfair to deny pre-order CE gifts ot people to didn't PO?

I have a fleet mate who has come to the rather upsetting conclusion that his $99 collectors editon will not include the pre-order bonuses.

I think it is unfair to deprive space loot to people simply because they were not playing the game at the time.

Perhaps add a clause that includes pre-order gifts if the account ordering hadn't existed during the pre-order time period?


It just feels like people who don't pre-order are missing out on pre-order bonuses.

I think that is the point. If you did not "pre-order" you do not get the bonuses.

It's like missing a sale (or "limited time offer") at a store because you never knew that the store existed. It's not the store's fault you didn't come in sooner.

If this seems unfair to him and he is getting upset about THIS then EVE is definately not the right game for him. Well if EVE isn't the right game for him then the pre order bonuses would be wasted anyway. The right conclusion is to not give him the pre order bonuses because its not the right game for him anyway.

btw if you are a good friend you should tell him that if he continues playing he will be in for a LOT of disappointment and anger. He really should stop.

If everyone gets them regardless of whether they pre-ordered or not, they're not pre-order bonuses, are they?

If there's a great enough demand, it would be perfectly fair to sell them at additional cost to those who didn't invest early.

It's going to be one disappointment after another after another in this game, were not known to being the friendliest bunch of people here. Were known for being evil and sadistic. And as others said it's called a PRE-ORDER bonus for a reason, he didn't pre-order so no bonus.

This is true.

In fact it is worse that that --> PEOPLE THAT DID NOT BUY THE COLLECTORS EDITION DO NOT GET PREORDER BONUSES EITHER

I demand that everyone gets the preorder bonus even if they never bought the Collectors Edition at all. Why should people that spend money get an unfair advantage!!
