Hello!

My question the simple:

What's the fastest and cheapest way to rise your SS?

Cheapest way that I've found is ratting in NPC nullsec (Stain, Syndicate etc). Grab a stealth bomber, find three or four systems, kill the highest bounty rat you find in each system, and each time your sec status ticks over (which will occur when you get the bounty payments every 15 or so mins), go back and start the chain again. Make sure you train whatever the skill is that boosts sec status gains (Fast Talk?).

Depending on how much time you can put in, you could repair your sec status inside of a week doing this.

Hal.
Why yes, yes I am going to shoot you.

Thanks, Hal.

So the timer is 15 mins?

Yeah, I believe so mate. The sec status adjustments occur whenever the npc bounty payments are made, which I'm pretty sure is 15mins. The thing to keep in mind is that you will only get the highest sec adjustment per system, rather than a cumulative adjustment per system, so it's only worth killing the highest bounty rat, moving system, and returning once you've recieved the bounty payments.

Depending on the systems and the rats you find, you could do a 4-6 system chain. The bomber will eat through the rats quickly, and with a rat-specific tank + AB, along with the cloak for the GTFO factor, you're sorted.

Sec bonuses are now per timer, no longer per timer per system, and have been for a long time.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any documentation other than in here.

But a bit of testing reveals the timer is now 5 minutes, and does not reset per system.

So in other words, ever since this change, it is better to stay in one system indefinitely.

edit: Here's the Proof from my testing. Lower entries show anom ratting in one system only, top entry I killed BC rats in 3 different systems.

Killing the clone rats in low sec gives pretty big sec bumps. Then you can turn in the tags as well.
