Region buys and fees

So if I put up a region buy at Amarr Family which I have 8.1 standing. And someone fills my buy order at a gallante station. Are my broker fees based on where I placed the buy order, or where it was filled? This is unclear in the explanations I've read so far.

All this time I've been thinking I needed to raise my faction at each hub...except agil because it is concord. But if I can just raise one faction and use region buys, that will save me quite a bit of trouble.

Thanks

Afaik, the fees are based on the station where you create the order. The broker fees you pay upon creation of the order, so they're made to the owner of the station.

This is why most Sinq Laison regionwide buy orders originate in Dodixie 9-20 (as traders tend to have decent standings there).

Of course when you sell the items later, you either need to haul them to a Fed Navy station (or outsource said hauling), or eat the higher fees. I choose the latter unless the item is something that does not sell well outside hubs,

Right now I'm looking at Sisters of Eve for inter-empire trading. It looks to be represented in every region with a major hub and several of the minor hubs. There might be an even better corp, but I haven't found it yet.

BTW, Sabriz. Is your corp name part of your pirating disguise? You don't strike me as a blitzer. But I could see someone looking at your corp and thinking, "Relax, she is just another mission runner..."

The corp name has indeed served a purpose, it got an incursion bear to feel safe joining it.

That led to my largest solo kill yet, after me and my 'friend' finished a mission.

Edit: the best disguise, however, is an unmemorable character portrait and an unmemorable character name. Do you have any idea how many gamers underestimate women that they don't consider attractive? Even when that 'woman' is actually played by a man?
