Hi guys,

So all my pew life i've been only brawling or scram kiting, which to me seems easier to do and provides more fun. But because you see more people kiting nowadays its though to find a fight you can actually take.

While some people might dissagree with me on this and its fine, i'd like to try kiting myself and here's where i need some help.

Firstly , i know in order to be succesfull it requires some manual piloting and a ship that goes fast and is agile, but what is more crucial, speed or agility? Or both on par?

Also, are links and/snake implants really necessary ? I'm gonna grab a lg snake set soon-ish ( hg too damn expensive) but I've never liked the idea of having links when you solo cause it feels like cheating and your not really solo..

Any other help would be apreciated , and trolls are also welcomed but atleast try and make me laugh aswel Big smile

Just because i am blond does not make me stoopid !

If you want to be a truly effective kiter, you need a missile interceptor, at least faction point, better yet faction MWD, too (or just faction all the things), HG slaves, drugs and links, obviously.

With that cost effective setup you can then go out and kill 20 T1 frigs! Without dying (probably)!

Then comes a blob of derptrons, you die and can rage in the forums, awesome fun!

Now, without the trolling, just get yourself some cheap TD or damp condors, engage EVERYTHING and try to make it better every time you die. You will die a lot, or lose point on a lot of targets, because that manual piloting ist actually easy, I suck at it myself.

And, Nanos>Overdrive, when solo kiting. Overdrives are nice when you tackle for a fleet and just need to get to the enemy ship asap, but when you fly solo the added speed without agility will just mess up your orbit.

What you do is try doing a rail atron.. arty whatever, and.... beam... executioner?

And then you sigh and accept the fact that lml's are just plain better than all of those and go with a kestrel/condor.
