To build a mighty corp, then a mighty alliance, then a mighty horde. Then to conquer all of conquerable space and rule it as Head Honcho. It's a pretty big goal, considering I'm only online about an hour a day.

Then after all of null sec has been subjugated, the horde will move into low sec. All of low sec will acknowledge and obey our NRDS law of iron. Amamake will be pacified and as peaceful as a newb system. From there, on to high sec. Miner gankers will have to buy a permit to sell permits. Jita scammers also-- no permit, no scamming. We might leave WHs alone though, just so we have something left to shoot once in a while, and because they're kind of a pain.

Imperial of Success more like

"Yea, some dude came in and was normal for first couple months, so I gave him director." - Sean Dunaway

"A singular character could be hired to penetrate another corps space... using gorilla like tactics..." - Chane Morgann

Measure of success: I am having fun.

Hobbies: I collect blueprint originals. Need to find a new hobby, as there are not that many left I don't have (I will never collect T2).

Good times.

Whenever I have been in a tight little fleet where everyone is on their game and there is no tension on comms because we're all too busy being good at what we do, I was winning EVE. Whenever I beat the odds and got into a corporation good enough to deliver said lack of tension and general awesomeness, I was winning EVE. Whenever someone said something that made me shoot beer out of my orifices while attempting to warp away from certain death, or I took down something I had no business being able to kill, or laughed so loud my wife woke up and came into my office to berate me for ruining her sleepy time... these were my greatest successes.

When I have fun, I've succeeded.

I judge how well I'm doing in EVE by how little my time in EVE feels like a second job.

Holy ****!

Its Darth Sidious!

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

To keep playing in hopes Eve gets fun again.. Big smile

Maybe finally see BEEP on a SOV map? Blink

To be still playing after all the other Space games come and go!

To be here when I can finally open my CQ door to the station just to find that it opens to the silly vampire game! Shocked

as a mineral trader and lover of market pvp, economic victory and never using real money to plex has to be my metric of success.

I concur with the sentiment that success in a video game is synonymous with enjoyment. Who wants to be the global leader in NCAA Football 2014 when they're absolutely miserable playing the game? In turn, enjoyment, to me, is meeting my goals in EVE. For example:

Short term: see if trading is enjoyable and determine profitability, partake in my first neural remap and multi-month skill plan (all Int/Mem and Mem/Int skills - no PvP for quite some time Cry)

Medium term: master high sec as best as possible and then move to low sec

Long term: police a few low sec systems and own/police a null sec system or two

If I ever saw CCP Falcon's character in real life I think I'd politely ask him to kick my ass just so I could brag about it.

Like many others, just having fun is success in my book.
