Hello my Dear CCP Developers.

I love you. I have cookies, sugar, and kisses if you like. Big smile

Please.. please... can we have a system to move skill points around? Perhaps make it like a remap 1x a year. Or even 1x every 2 years.

Basically I want to take SP from skills I don't use and put them somewhere else. I'd also like to forget skills if I want to.

Why are you stalking me?

Perhaps the Devs have forgotten... or need a reminder... or someone needs to ask really nice. Big smile

Can you explain why actions should no-longer have consequences?

Then we shouldn't have attribute remapping... we shouldn't have character remodeling...

From a realist position... we are already at the point in RL where scientists have rudimentary tools to impact memory. 20 thousand years from now... brain remapping shouldn't be a problem. Especially since our brains are scanned and digitized at destruction so the data can be sent to a cloning station whereby your brain is remapped based on the digital data.

Remapping doesn't remove your previous choices. Remapping doesn't turn you from an industry guy to a PVP guy in seconds. Character remodeling is cosmetic only and provides no bonuses whatsoever.

This is a game where choices have consequences. You want the consequences of your choices to be removed, and you cannot explain why.

You make it sound like a person would remap skills for industry, then turn around and change them back to PvP. If the skill change was based on a 1x a year or 2x a year rotation this would not be an issue.

I've explained why. I have skills I don't want. I want to take those SP and put them somewhere else. There could be limits on the system. It could be limited to a maximum of 10 million SP or something. Doesn't have to be 100%.

Edit: Btw... you have a lovely complexion. Smile

CCP has said multiple times that they will never do any of this.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

Sounds like a challenge to me. haha Smile

No seriously... that is a shame and should be reconsidered.

Not all ideas are created equal. Ideas which have thought behind them as to the implications and come with reasons for their existence are superior to ideas which are backed by a couple sentences amounting to "I want it".

The latter (e.g. the OP) is bad.

-1 no... this is an often requested bad idea. If you want to move your talent points around play wow.

"I don't have to train all the skills.. I just have to train half of them..."

If it was available 1x a year or 1x every two years it wouldn't be a problem.

You can't compare SP with talent points in WoW. Ugh

You speak of implications... please... enlighten me how SP changes could be bad if it was done only 1x a year or 1x every 2 years in a limited fashion?

This is a game. "I want it..." is completely valid in an entertainment environment. It would make me happier when I play and I would be more likely to spend my money on EvE. Entertainment by its nature is self centered because it gives us pleasure. CCP wants to make money. So their objective is to make people like and enjoy their product enough to pay for it.

So please... drop the faux superior attitude. I'm sure you have changes that you "want" in EvE too.
