Guess that just depening on where you like to hunt. Close to home in LowSec means reps aren't far away, and you want to drop loot anyway, but the OP left that wide open. Also, I'm certain I wasn't the only one who thought that if you're hunting ratters, wouldn't you just go to where the juicy rats are? Trading DPS for probes seems more a convenience thing.

I thought that Stratios fit was pretty nasty, myself. That 5-5-5 slot layout is nice. Like his fit, I didn't see the point of only having a mwd if the only thing you're gonna use it for is the bump. AB does that just fine and then some.

I tinkered with everything: pure resists, buffer/ancillary rep, even tried out the 100MN-freight-train. In the end, for a decloak 1v1, the massive buffer you get from the 1600 and resists just seemed too good to pass on.

Still tinkering....

DPS 620/715
Tank: 700 omni for no cap
AB for no loss of prop to scram
Very resistant to a nueting
Smartbomb for drones which are the only things you're going to be taking damage from at close range.

The idea is to gank as fast as you can, tank is minimal, it'll hardly be used since you're cloaky and can get in under guns (just no Tengu's or Ishtars for obvious reasons ken / therm resists and HML/HAMS.

I used this to very good effect in Period Basis against ratters, killed a lot of BC and a Nightmare in it. Got ganked eventually in a hotdrop. Only real change I have made is adding the smartie since I had a few battleship ratters warp off due to ECM drones.

I ended up with 22/1 KD so its definitely viable if used properly despite the "omg you're wasting the awesome resists". My response to that is if you're ganking ratters you don't need a 150k ehp tank. This easily tanked full Blood sanctum spawn and killed a Nightmare at the same time.

Who needs neuts to kill em slowly, when you can have blasters and kill em quickly? 550dps with overloaded guns. After all 9 charges in the XLASB you will end up with about 72k EHP. The proteus suggested above will do the cloaky blasters thing better (better tank, prob more dps) but this one is cheaper XD


Stratios is better than Pilgrim in literally every conceivable way.

Speaking of ECM Drones, what are people's thoughts on the Dissolution Sequencer? I've seen a handful of fits with them, understand the bonus they give, but haven't been able to find any first-hand accounts of whether they're worth trading the extended range scram for. If, being cloaky, we're bumping our prey to begin with, wouldn't the DS be a better option if it counters ECM drones?
