FW and faction standings

looking to get my faction up a point or two, and currently have a newish character in FW. I noticed he gained half a point or so faction standings without ever running a mission. I was wondering how much you make doing FW?

Would FW be faster rep then running missons?

I haven't been using my main in PVP because they are busy with a million other things, and the head of my corporation, but if the faction gains are faster PVPing I'd certainly rather do that than save the damsel.

If you are just looking to raise your faction standing, find the 'Faction/Standing Repair Plan' in the forums, and now I think it is part of the Eve Wiki, and do that instead of joining FW.

I already did all of those, Essentially all I can do s run level 4's now... and I'm over 8 standing already in 4 major corps.. so I realy have no reason to do missions anymore.

don't know why my faction standing is sitting around 3.5... I think I must have been declining story missions when I didn't know any better.

Assuming you're not taking missions that go up against other factions and that you have all the relevant skills trained, then I'm not sure why your standing is at 3.5. Are the the 4 major corps part of each faction? Maybe that has something to do with it. Sorry for not being very helpful.

Yes, I am ranked up in Caldari Navy, Spacelane patrol, Hyasoka? watch, and lia dia is like rank 5 or so with a few others. All of them Caldari State.

Based on the half point of rep I have earned over 2 day s on my alt, I am about ready to drop my corp and sign up for service if I could get a half point a day or so... I don't know how rep works in FW, I don't want to drop everything on my main to not get faction rep for whatever reason.

I really just need to know if the rep gains are comparable or faster than running endless security missions, I like PvP a hella lot more anyway. 16 level 4's for one storyline mission is at least a few days work, which is what I figure would give me a half point.

You definitely can get massive faction standings boosts by running FW missions, and running FW complexes. You'll also tank your opposing faction standing pretty quickly though, so watch out for that.

A few days of L4 FW missions in a Nemesis should have your Caldari standings pretty high.

We Gallente have a saying: "CCP created the Gallente Militia to train the Fighters..."
