How's the Brawling game?

Posting on a Research alt because ~free intel~, but, having finished exams, I decided to resub after about 8 months off.

IIRC, at the time it was 'dual-TD Condors, dual-TD Condors everywhere', and I don't personally find the kiting playstyle much fun. So, given the current situation, are there any brawls to be had or shall I stick with market PvP?

Also, this is with regard to solo play, frig/dessie/cruiser.

Well i go out and get welped a lot... but have several really fun fights.. 1v1 brawling is supper fun.

Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Kite will beat brawl unless brawl can control the range (get up in that face) and melt em.

Brawling is most fun pvp mode EVAH but it's so easy to get tarped, kited, countered, baited, blobed, ecm faggoted then blobbed, Hotdropped, drophotted, damped then kited, kited then damped, counter brawled, then td'd, falcon'd, grifffalconed, station gamed, cloaked bloped, all of the previous things at the same timw that in the end I realised that if you go brawl it's for the *SHOCK* fun of it.

Best fight are the 1 in 20 brawls where you just love it, you get out against bad odds in hull with no cap charges left and the bad guys are like OMGWTF HE LINKED even though they brought 15 ships.

So **** the killboard, get stuck in ma sun!

I prefer brawling myself...although thats soon to change. But every time i go out solo and look for a fight my dscan picks up nothing but tristans condors maulus slicers oh and ofc the new inties towards the plexes... Rarely another brawler. And that is not counting links and nearby friends.

I dunno maybe im just old fashioned or just really dumb to not have my own links or 2 screens to run with a falcon alt but meh...

Got into a few fights. Lost 'em all, but one was a brawl and was close-ish.

All were fun. The encouragement is appreciated.

Confirming our corp of 100 'people' that is spread across different time zones is less than the total number of squids logged on at one time in Innia.

To the OP - I can think of few things in this game more fun than Blasters + Antimatter + Approach. TDs dont work very well at 500km range. Market pvp has no equivalent that I know of.











Well - unless you count selling stabs to the Caldari. Those things fly off the shelves faster than a overheated blaster cycles.

I'm still looking for (solo) brawls in my Rupture. Had a very enjoyable brawl with a Vengeance yesterday, no links no bull**** just a fun fight. Just gotta pick your engagements. I just got lucky getting an invite for a 1vs1, thinking 'oh why the heck not' and actually getting that 2-3 mins of pure solo pew pew bliss.

Seriously though , brawling is alot more fun then kiting anyway .. or atleast its more challenging and you fight lik true harry chested men !

But people tend to wanna go the easy way and just kite away from danger cause ships nowadays are tooo damn expensive , but for some reason they can afford to purchase a pure leadership toon for links and fulll hg snake sets .


If ur ever near innia , gimme a call im more then happy to 1v1 ( i don't use links or shiny implants )

Brawling requires tackle. Hard throbbing tackle. if you don't get tackle, you can get kited.

Getting tackle requires playing the rock-paper-scissors-snake-spock game, and declining many engagements that don't go in your favour. You may have your sexuality, sexual orientation, impugned with incest jokes and the like for running away from linked double-damp Hookbills, but believe me, the kiting crowd turn down just as many engagements because there's 1/100th of a smidgin's chance of being hard tackled.

Just fly MWD med shield extender blaster scram atrons. Those things are awesome, especially if you hate Condors
