**** me! Another thread destined to be filled with goon tears.

LOL @ Gewnies

Thanks OP! Big smile

It does beg the question if intentional node death is now part of the blob game escalation meta.Roll

Ah, but did they make an allegation? So far we just have OP implying that someone made an allegation in order to put forward the questions.

OK, we're really splitting hairs, but yes you are right. Someone made an allegation that someone made an allegation., couched in the form of a question, but still to my mind an allegation.

My point was, the Goons seem to be overly sensitive for an organisation one of who's aims is to make life a misery for anyone not a Goon.

Look honestly, I'm calling bullshit on this one. Goons actually create a lot of fun content in EVE and I think they enjoy it, regardless of whether they joke/claim about them not wanting their enemies to have fun.

I can't claim to speak for the rest of my alliance mates, but I like that my enemies are having fun. It means they keep coming back for me to shoot at them some more.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Can we please stop with the grr goons threads, getting pretty tiresome.

This is a fact, CCP Servers can not handle these type of fights, whether it be large scale subcaps + drones or large capital fights + drones + DD.

To expect alliances to have some sort of gentlemen's agreement on who can bring x number of ships to a fight is ridiculous and to expect alliances not to bring more ships to fight just because it "might" crash the server is also ridiculous.

Now CFC have officially joined these node crashes are going to get a lot more common so we as players are just going to have to deal with.

Oh yeah before people start trying to make out like I am blaming CFC, I'm not, its just simple maths.. more players = bigger fleets = more node crashes.. simple as that.

Spot on. We have been caught, with our pants down and engaged in improper relations with the server servicing powers that be.

There can never be too many goonspiracy theories.

Ok, I'm confused here. We appear to be on page 3 of a GRRR GOONS thread and yet Rekon X has not come along to spout his usual vitriolic level of bitter.

Did he die or just finally get over it?

When is an allegation, not an allegation? When there's a "?" at the end. Apparently. Roll

Last time they blame it on our drones. Now they blame it on our Doomsdays.
What's next, are you going to blame us chatting in local is causing nodes to crash (I know it doesnt)?

This is the third time the node crashed when we were killing CFC/Rus dreads and clearly to the benefit of CFC/Rus, but it's okay, 33 Dreads are dead now. And a ton of dictors.

It is the drones.

With everyone using droneboat doctrines there is just too much stuff for the node to handle. The titans were just the final straw that broke its poor back.

did you know that goons were actually told not to spam local because it strained the server back when we didn't own CCP yet :toot:

I would have to say though.. It is funny how most of the carrier were short like 200 drones.. Some that died had less then 100 in them mostly lights.. So although it may not have been an "order" there were alot of people dropping and abandoning drones in that carrier ball..

Just Saying..

PS.. WTF I now have 2 days left on my insurance.. Why cant a brother catch a DD?

Pretty sure the involved parties are as frustrated with the Node crashes as much, no, MORE, than the rest of Eve.

We all want to see them go at it, no holds, everything on the table. Imagine how much THEY want to?

Node crashes suck for every pilot on field, xcept maybe the 1 super that's actually being primaried. They're not intentional. But with all the drones, bombs, smartbombs, bubbles, damage notifications, warp disruption notifications, reloading, warping, locking, refitting, activating/deactivating modules, jumping in, jumping out, communicating relative ranges to each client for each client, etc, etc, etc, etc next 10 pages of processes that need to happen to make Eve run.... Node crashes are an inevitable eventuality at the present, until CCP figures a better way to deal with all that :/ Sadly.

No one likes them. Well, cept maybe reading the 'Grr 'Insert flavor of the week'' threads.

Dear Mr. (or Miss) Important Honourable Spaceship Champion of Arranged Fights *tm

Look forward to the day when RvB makes enough friends to have a node- (and soul-) crushing fight.

Too bad it will never happen. The alts that make up your alliance(s) would never escalate a fight by calling in backup. That would be Dishonourable Conduct, right?

Here's a little form you can fill out next time...

**insert coalition here**_______ was fighting **insert other coalition here** _______ and after X (choose one: drones/carriers/supers/things) were deployed, the node crashed and ______ "won". Grrrrr _______

X = big number

Now you can just copy-paste that, you'll only look like an idiot and not a raving tinfoil-chewing sperglord.

They did crash the node, it's what the goonz do. They are cowardly losers and can't win even with their numbers.

N3 and PL need to fleet up in retrievers, then da goonz will have a chance.
