Immortality has it's perks. Like the whole not dying thing.

According to the lore they die. But the general population numbers are never really given. And with an enitre galaxies worth of planets im sure there is more than enough for the very limited number of capsuleers that exist. not to mention they would die in non capsuleer ships fighting for their empires anyways.

You may be right about there being a lot of people in the EVE systems. I don't know about you but I'm the only me I have and even if there are lots to chose from surely they can't all have the tendencies of lemmings?

Apart from some people with strange attitudes no-one, surely, is that eager to die.

Thanks for all the contributions, they told me things I didn't know, but I just can't imagine these faceless, automatons where there should be living, sentient human beings.

Still I won't lose any sleep over it, I was just curious and a bit puzzled.

Thanks again.

back in like 2005 each ship showed the amount of crew it had and when you died + podded the crew would also show up in space as corpses. lots and lots of corpses.

I enslave the Ammar and force them to crew my ship. No Escape Pod, No Breaks, Just Service With A Smile. If they want to survive that is, I keep a cargo bay door to eject them from handy in every room and a self destruct button on me at all times.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

I use tourists, they want to see space, and take pictures and all kinds of nonsensse, but the unfortunate part is the pictures they have taken have never been seen by anybody else but themselves..right before my ship explodes

Or if you are being all Post-Modern, are only brown when the viewer sees them as brown because no-one cares what the teddy bear thinks about the matter.
