Drone-focused ship for Caldari

I am curious on what would be a decent Caldari ship that is focused on drones and what would be a good fitting for it. I would be most probably using it for PvE in high sec areas mainly.

There isn't a pure Caldari drone boat. The closest I've come is the SNI, but I use that as a cruise platform with drone support (I'm assuming you want Caldari because of missile skills). If you're focused on drones more so than missiles the 'snake and the Gila are great options, but I personally haven't found anything more versatile than my Ishtar (I don't fly the space potatoe). You don't get fined for cross-training.

The closest ship for your specs would be Dominix. It's gallente though. If you want drones as a primary weapon, train for that.

I'd vote for Rattlesnake. It gets bonuses to shields and drones and is still capable of using missiles. You'll need Both Caldari and Gallente Battleship skills trained before you can fly it.

Caldari have 2 dedicated drone boats, neither of them are allowed in highsec.

Cross skilling is the only way to get a bonus'd drone hull for caldari.

It is possible to make a caldari hull drone focused but you really gimp the ship.
