P.S.

Anyone with a tengu Fit capable of solo a class 4 anomaly please feel free to share.

It looked like this did the trick until we stumbled across it.
Found it doing C4 noms, might be painfully slow, but it looked like it could tank them :P

Free tip of the day:

Upholder BS only neuts out to 70km, a Tengu can shoot over 100km.

Go figure.

Its simply not possible anymore, at least not in any sort of efficient manner. It used to be, but that was before the neut fix.

This is wrong, study WHERE the new waves spawn related to structures in the anomaly, since it will be the same every time. Make sure to be atleast 70km away from that location and then stay out of their range.

For being in TEST alliance you don't seem to do alot of actual TESTING.

Good lord they were probably taking him 45-60 mins to complete.

2 BS over the structure.
next wave directly under the structure @ about 40kms
final wave 2 o'clock high @ 90kms? it's either 70 or 90.

tengu, can tank the toughest spawns in C4s. It can also kill the toughest ships, but is not quick at it. The thing to be careful of is the range of the sleeper nasties, especially their neuts. The answer to that is care and kiting, or buddies.

Remember also, sleepers are homebodies, contrary to what others have posted in the past they have a bounce-distance. They will not head further fromt heir home than this distance, so if you've still got their aggro they bounce around at that distance ... and you can sit 80km further out, tank them, and pick away at them. This applies to them all but is only particularly useful in those 4 x elite BS spawns and you're undergunned.

The elite sleeper BSs bounce at somewhere in the 200-250km distance from their home, and they move pretty quickly so it doesn't take ages to get them out there.

It **is** possible, absolutely possible. It's not easy and it's not quick, but it is possible. Whether it's 'efficient' is entirely in the eye of the beholder and their balancing of the costs and the benefits. I would usually two-ship the DPS, tengu and rattlesnake, and was pretty happy with the turnaround times on our C4 sites .... altho warping a cap-empty snake back to the POS can take forever.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

When Sleeper neuting was re-introduced, I did a fair bit of testing on Singularity before it went live. I posted a fairly detailed thread with my alt at http://eve-search.com/thread/1449514
A T2-fitted XL-Boosted Tengu can solo the Frontier Barracks, but it takes about 40 minutes. The key is to have 65% cap stability. That will be enough for any anomaly. I don't honestly know about the ma/radar sites, but I strongly suspect you can't solo them.

FYI - solo-ing C4 anoms is nowhere near as efficient for isk/hr as C3 anoms. C3's are generally accepted as being the best isk-earning option for a solo farmer.

As indicated in the second reply you do not want to solo C4's for several reasons:

1) No matter the fit, clearing those sites alone will take time...lots of time...probably long enough for someone to find you in most cases.

2) Whatever solo fit you use for a C4, in most cases, will be expensive and a particularly attractive target to whomever finds you because you'll be completely helpless and they'll know that and that you're more or less a pinata that upon smashing you lots of goodies will spill out.

3) Soloing will limit you to just one or two types of sites.

No my friend, there are much cheaper ways to do C4's if you have a friend with a good fit RR tengu. You'll be able to do most all anoms with just 2.

My current tengu fit is 63% cap stable with mature energy management skills. With 63% cap stab I can be neuted by 3 BS's in Barracks and still run my RR. So, if you're in the 50ish% range you should do fine as long as you realize when you need to manage your cap by pulsing your RR.

Don't ban me, bro!
