I am getting the same thing. Only difference is mine typically happens when Alt+Tab-ing and while in game sometimes half my windows blink away or my whole game will blink to the desktop and back.

Switching to DX9 worked, obviously not a long term solution but it has stabilized my Eve for now.

Try turning sound off on your client. That's what worked around crash/freeze when docking/undocking for me.

If that doesn't work, you're going to need to get some more diagnostics for CCP, and submit a bug report to CCP Snorlax. This thread has some additional things you can enable:

1. Run Logserver to save additional logging data
2. Enable the frameTimeTimeout=30000 switch so you can automatically create DMP files and logs if the client freezes
3. If you need to get a manual capture of the exefile.exe, I recommend DebugDiag, as it's graphical and easy to use. If the client is frozen, just click the Processes tab, find exefile.exe, right click and select "Create Mini Userdump".

You'll need to submit all of the files for analysis.

Thanks, Ransu for acting as my agent here!

I did fix the audio related freeze when docking/undocking earlier this week. I have that confirmed from one player who consistently froze on undock when audio was enabled. Of course it is possible there are further issues related to audio, but if you've had problems with that in the past, please try re-enabling audio (I'd suggest undocking somewhere safe first!).
