Eve Launcher has a new problem... Patch Notes not working

Edit: There are patch notes now that CCP put up a few hours after the downtime, but not when I made the OP. I work in the s/w biz and lack of developer documentation is always a peeve for them to do, and in many cases they stop doing it. That can be the beginning of the end for any s/w product.


There is a link to patch notes, but there ARE NO PATCH NOTES.


Yet again another stealth patch with no notice, no information, no general info, no delcarations.

So if CCP you can't provide patch notes, (where you even have a link) to the customers, then I can only imagine that you are not documenting your programs, and processes to the base software.

Performance

  • We did some stuff for Dust 514 that slowed down Eve Tranquility.
  • We tried to fix the rolling galactic tidi where there are only 3 ships in a system, but we can't find the dev documentation.


Game Play

  • In character creator, we added a new hat called "Minmatar Tinfoil"
  • We installed a secret win button for an undisclosed alliance.

I seen this in the launcher earlier before downtime so decided to wait until downtime was over before playing. I guess they don't notify us, eh? Please note the time and date of the link. Thanks.

Changes
Twitch.tv Integration

Players can now stream directly to Twitch.tv from the client
The Twitch.tv window can be found in the Neocom under Social
Players are required to have a Twitch.tv account to stream
Players can set the title of their stream along with resolution and framerate
The resolutions available are fixed and will alter the size of your client when you start the stream
Changing resolution during the stream will result in a disconnection
This performance of this feature will depend on your machine and upload bandwidth – all streams are handled through Twitch directly
This feature is not present on the Mac

EVE - DUST Link

EVE orbital strikes for DUST are now earned within EVE by capturing a beacon above the district a battle is taking place on.
Successful kills from EVE orbital strikes will earn the EVE pilot a kill report.
If the EVE pilot is in factional warfare and performs an orbital strile for their militia, they will now earn loyalty points.


So your whining was pretty much bullshit across the board.
