Announcement:

The Contessa di le Solfete cordially invites the Faithful, Loyalists and Allies (such as the Caldari) of the Amarr Empire and Khanid Kingdom to a gala at the the Helemete Museum in Solfete on Nordar III at 2200 New Eden Standard Time on 12.15. Drinks, hor'dourves, and local dishes will be provided along with music, dancing and entertainment. The Museum has a fine art gallery with a special exhibition of pieces relating to the History of the Amarr which will be available for viewing and discussion.

Transportation to the museum will be via shuttle from the spaceport at Old Star Port - Solfete.

While this is an open invitation as stated above, on the pre-approved Guest List:

The current exhibit is 'The Empire Endures' with art from the time of the Khanid Rebellion, the Battle of Vak'Aioth and the Minmatar Rebellion.

History is of importance and museums preserve that physically. I am interested in attending and declare this my official request for an invitation.

I would like to thank virtually everyone who attended for conducting themselves with decorum and enjoying the pleasant evening of music, art and history. It was a pleasure to see most of you and I hope that you enjoyed yourselves and consider joining in the Contessa's visions for the Cluster.

Given the success of the evening (with one minor hiccup), and generous donations from pleased patrons, it is my hope to discuss with the Contessa whether she would hold a similar function in the future when the Museum has another Special Exhibit. Hopefully those who could not attend previously, will be able to do so in the future. Certain persons will also not be permitted to attend in the future as well. The donations have been applied towards purchasing new pieces for the Museum and for additional security and personnel.

I can understand how this could have been construed, given the speed with which the guard was called out. I noticed that all Caldari guests had hit atmo very soon thereafter - including the pregnant woman who could probably have done without the g-loading of a combat launch.

Captain Tuulinen,

Understandably, emotions were rather high. The Guard was called out to escort the two miscreants from the Museum as well as to ensure the safety of everyone, Imperial and State, so no further incidents could result from loose tempers and emotions.

My congratulations to you by the way on your long-time performance of Duty for the State as evidenced by your milestone of 1000 pod versus pod victories. While as the Amarr say "Duty is its own reward" it is certainly not inappropropriate to recognize such a long period of service and accomplishment such as that.
