Notice that's "morale officer" and not "moral officer".

But in any event if you'd paid more attention to my words, ma'am, you'd know that in fact I never 'own' slaves. I merely purchase them to inevitably give them freedom. The cooling-off period between these two stages may vary, however, out of concerns for the safety of all parties, and during that period the 'adoptee' will of course remain under slave pretences, however it's more like being a prisoner. And they're ok to have, right?

I'm a former slave and I'd like to confirm that Ms Dusette and her family is the best thing that ever happened to me.

In fact the Major is possibly being a little modest. She describes the conditions during the cooling off as prisoners-like. For me it wasn't so bad, I understand the safety concerns involved, the trust one must first build. The food was great, company outstanding and living conditions within her tower quite upstanding.

So there you have it, from the mouth of a genuine former slave, now a free woman thanks to Major Dusette. It's no wonder the State looks upon her so fondly, such compassion, such empathy. Gleaming symbol of Achuran heritage.

I tried to withdraw your donation to the cause, but they said it's a bounty. I asked what that meant, and they said it means I'm wanted now so... I guess I should say thanks! But yeah! I've been watching movies 'n stuff, and it's really cool, there's this new show where like, they put three guys in wetsuits and spray them down with oil and make them wrestle in a pit of overcooked noodles with snorkling gear, except one of them is actually into other guys, and the other two aren't, so there's this real tension and stuff especially when.. well nevermind.

Anyways, yeah!
