Looking for help with Angel Cartel standings

I recently decided to move to Curse space, and I'm looking into making some money with running missions. I am however confused about the whole standing mechanics. I have a negative standing with the Angel Cartel and I don't know when higher level missions will become available. I am currently running lvl 1's for Guardian Angels. This is an overview of my current standings:

Angel Cartel:

-4,81 (Diplo 3 raises from -6,83)

Guardian Angels (the npc corp I run missions for):

2.01 (Criminal connections 3 raises from 0,87)

Now my question is: If i want to access a higher level agent, do I need to have only high standings with the npc angel corp or high standings with the Angel Cartel as a whole?

Does anybody know anything about it, and if yes, how to fix it?

With angel cartel (faction) standings of -4.8 you will only be able to access lvl1 agents with any angel cartel corporation. It's just like hisec agents, where you need both adequate standings (e.g. 5 or better for lvl4 agents) with either the relevant corp or faction AND you need for neither that faction nor corp to have standings worse than -2.

You have a number of options availabel to 'repair' your angels standings. grinding lvl1 missions will do it, but it will take forever and it is very much not-at-all fun.

There is a very good faction repair plan, written by DeMichael Crimson, and it can be accessed via https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=10212&find=unread

I suggest you read that thoroughly, and make use of the information however you see fit.

Pirate corps do not have all the tutorial / career / circle / cosmos agents that the major hisec factions offer, but angels do offer some hisec cosmos agents.

The other big angels standings tool is the Angel Sound epic mission arc. Run it a couple of times and your faction standings will be on the sunny side of -2. Running it once will move you from your -4.8 to a little above zero (30-40% faction standings gain), and running it a second time (3-months later) will bring you close to being able to access lvl4s based on your faction rather than corp standings. If you want to pursue those pirate arcs 9there is also a guristas one), then you may also be interested in our very exceleltn support packages for them:

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

I was thinking about that, but can I access those agents with my low faction standings?

If you got 3.0 or more in standing with either Republic Security Services (corp), Minmatar Republic (faction), Amarr Navy (corp) or Amarr Empire (faction) you can start the Angel Epic arc "Angel Sound".

Thanks alot, that should do the trick.

As a question on the Epic Arc missions, can you use a strategic cruiser to enter the deadspace gates or not?

There's a fair bit of info out there already. Short answer tho, No.

The pirate arc gates generally restrict you to using T1 or T2 frigate / destroyer hulls.

i know the following to be true as far as the angel cartel epic arc goes.

you can do EVERY cobat mission bar on in a stealth bomber. bar the last one. no stealth bombers allowed for some reason, so i end up using a dessie to pop him.

I went as far as to petition this and a senior gm said thats how it is, even tho apparently you can do the entire arc in any frig saized ship.

also if uyou plan to do this every 3 months as i do with my main.

make 200-300km bm's in random directions of the system gates.
This will allow you to scout out a gate without the fear of being caught in a gate camp. if its clear youwarp to the gate. if its not wait a while as you will prolly be cloaked :)

my 1st time took me a total of 18 hours to run the arc and make the bookmarks. also was camped in a station for 6 hours as well lol.

last time i did the arc it was a less than 2 hours
